Originally built in the late 1800’s, the Lilly Building is a former manufacturer's warehouse at 52-56 Bond Street, St. John’s. The building was purchased by Choices for Youth in 2007.  This re-development turned the existing building into a modern complex with independent living accommodations for 14 youth and programming space for literacy and employment services.  See more on Choices for Youth, its mission and its accomplishments.

 

Working with the architectural firm Ron Fougere and Associates, IDDEL provided the mechanical engineering design for the complete building re-development.  The design of HVAC and plumbing systems included energy management and efficiency studies which led to the incorporation of split heat pump systems into the overall design.   Upon completion of the construction, the installation of the mechanical systems was inspected and certified by IDDEL prior to its occupancy.
